Gather evidence of air pollution to hold polluters accountable.
Are you worried about air pollution in your community? You can join a local Bucket Brigade or start your own chapter, to gather quantitative data to take to fight pollution. The Louisiana Bucket Brigade is the original project, but the EPA-approved “bucket” has spread across the US to address all kinds of problems, including fracking. You use the bucket to take air samples which lets you monitor emissions within your own community, giving you real evidence to take to your local government. Your bucket, along with participatory training on polluting chemicals, as well as government regulations emissions, gives you power to hold institutions accountable to provide a safe and healthy environment.
