GOAL:

Take photos of biodiversity and upload to iNaturalist app.

To share what you see in nature, upload your photos of biodiversity with iNaturalist. You can meet other nature lovers and learn more about animals and the environment through others’ observations. INaturalist acts as a species identification system, using crowdsourcing to identify and collaborate on organisms. With their cataloguing tool, you can record your own observations, help identify other people’s observations, and work together with fellow naturalists. Anyone can access iNaturalist’s observational data, while remaining anonymous, to use for advancing conservation and science. Naturalists can be anyone - hikers, hunters, beach combers, birders - who loves spending time outdoors. Whatever you see when you’re out there exploring, share it on iNaturalist. If enough people recorded their observations, it would become a living record of life on Earth that scientists and land managers could use to monitor changes in biodiversity, and that anyone could use to learn more about nature.
