Christine Vaughn
BIO

Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Christine works for an online news publication, Insider Louisville, as their Marketing and Events Coordinator. In her spare time, she runs a girl scout troop and helps plan festivals. As an avid mountain biker, she enjoys outdoor recreation and usually goes out to ride 2 or 3 times a week, even in winter. Christine has had allergies all her life, and has been diagnosed with asthma, which is why she uses Propeller Health’s inhaler sensor. The data her sensor collects helps her to recognize patterns of usage and the events that trigger her symptoms. This allows her and her doctor to manage her asthma symptoms so that she can be active outdoors and enjoy doing what she loves. Christine believes that this technology not only helps reduce people’s dependence on medication, but may also lead to a cure some day.
