Aitana Oltra

Aitana is the Scientific Officer of Mosquito Alert and is a passionate developer of citizen science and participatory processes in environmental topics. Her work focuses on the relationship between organisms and the use of space: resources, impacts, spatio-temporal patterns, behaviours, etc. She has worked in the field of urban development, land management and impact assessment. Her current work is based on the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze spatio-temporal patterns in ecology. She has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, a Master of Science in Water and Coastal management, and has done postgraduate research in GIS.
