GOAL:

Create a Science Hack day for a 48-hour all night intense collaboration.

Do you have a problem in your community, like air pollution, that you want science to address? Well, science is coming to your way! Anyone can create a Science Hack Day in their city: it’s a two-day, all-night event where anyone excited about science comes together in the same physical space to see what they can prototype within 24 consecutive hours. Designers, developers, scientists, citizen scientists, and anyone interested in science are welcome to attend. There’s no experience in science or hacking necessary, just an insatiable curiosity, or the desire to solve problems in your community. The event is entirely free to attend, organized by volunteers, and supported via sponsors. To date, there have been over 60 Science Hack Day events across 22 countries around the globe, with dozens more being planned right this moment!
